Following on from the extensive riots the UK saw in early August, the Government agreed to deal with all reasonable damages as a result of the riots under the Riot Damages Act.

In order for insurers to claim from the Government under the Riot Damages Act, we must notify the authorities of any claims within 42 days (which finishes on 13th September 2011). If you have a claim from damage caused in the riots, please ensure that our claims department are notified before 13th September.
